In this position, the Customer Support Engineer will set high standards for service quality, customer advocacy, and technical excellence. New Product Introduction & Service Program Manager
This position is responsible for representing the Customer Services function and also leading New Product Introduction (NPI) cross-functional program management teams, coordinating on time delivery of all aspects of multiple and concurrent projects, from initial project approval through completion.

The Program Manager will reside at the Site in Guangzhou. The Senior Technical writer develops and enhances end user documentation for Crossbeam Systems network security hardware and software. The technical writer reports to the technical publications manager, and works with other writers on the tech pubs team. This opportunity is for a person who considers him/her self to be a self-starter, requiring minimal day-to-day supervision, who wants to contribute to the success of the technical publications mission, and to improving the Crossbeam Systems user experience.
The Senior Technical writer will perform the following tasks:

- 3-to-6+ years experience in technical product management, sales engineering, engineering, pre or post sales support, or other technical field
- 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience in a high-tech environment
- Deep understanding of networking and security technologies used by Enterprises or Service Providers
- Good knowledge of the following: Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Gateway Antivirus, Proxies, Caching
- Key technology expertise should include one ore more of the following: Core IP/MPLS VPNs, Routing (BGP, OSPF, etc),
- Familiarity with network forensic and test tools such as packet capture, simulation and load testing tools
- Ability to translate complex customer technical issues to product requirements for interpretation by R&D teams
- Ability to translate complex technical solutions to meaningful customer benefits

EMEA Professional Services Engagement Manager
The Senior Regional PS Engagement Manager is responsible for directing the business development and operation activities of consulting and education resources for the EMEA region and be a part of a fast growing Global Services organization at Crossbeam Systems. In addition, the Engagement Manager will work closely with the sales organization to develop and deliver professional services methodologies and offerings to ensure that Crossbeam’s solutions offerings are clearly mapped to the customer and prospect business needs. Candidates must reside in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Work with sales to define where / when / how to engage Professional services in the sales process
- Develop services offerings including methodologies and consulting services “packages” and establish appropriate pricing and billing rates
- Provide technical leaderships to pan EMEA and global customer accounts
- Work with channel management organization to develop and implement the
- Crossbeam Accredited Service Partner (CASP) program for channel partners
- Assist Sales in preparing and reviewing proposals, presentations and Statements of
- Work (SOW) for professional services engagements
- Create formal program for collaboration with sales, sales engineers, tech support, engineering and field consultants to develop best practices for successful delivery of all service engagements

Qualifications:
- 10+ years networking and/or network security architecture experience
- 7+ years of technical leadership
- 7+ years leadership in consulting and professional services organizations
- Track record of revenue/bookings target achievement and ability to grow / scale a professional services business in EMEA.
- Experienced in building and managing with international markets –specifically EMEA
- Experience with the development and delivery of education/training tools and systems
- Very strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Project management and finance in IT security and telecom industry expertise a plus
- This role requires the Engagement Manager to travel extensively to customer locations to provide pre-sales and on-site engagement management

Pre-Sales Systems Engineer
The Pre-Sales Systems Engineer (SE) is responsible for supporting their assigned Account Manager and Regional Channel Manager with all technical elements of the sales process while selling Crossbeam solutions to potential customers and resellers. The Systems Engineers primary charter is to obtain solution closure within the sales cycle from the technical buyer, and to maintain account satisfaction with Crossbeam products.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Account Executives in a pre-sales capacity presenting Crossbeam products and services while developing designs and solutions aligned to the customer's business requirements and IT priorities
- Configuring Crossbeam products for evaluation and proof of concepts, as well as responding to all RFP/RFI requests and managing the on-site customer demonstration to obtain solution closure
- Establish trusted advisory partnerships with key customers to define technology direction and adaptation of emerging technologies; perform effective technical opportunity analysis of accounts to know who the key solution decision makers are and maintain effective relationships with those key individuals
- Participate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the regional team providing engineering guidance in their area of specialization
- Perform detailed high quality presentations to technical and executive audiences
- Assist with technical trainings and updates to Channel Partners as needed
- Enhance product and industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintain thorough Crossbeam product knowledge through new releases and product upgrades

Requirements:
The selected candidate must have a minimum 5 years of professional industry experience developing and designing large IP-based networks for enterprise Fortune 500 customers. The Engineer is required to have deep and extensive experience in the key technologies related to TCP/IP data protocols and IP routing and switching technologies and must be prepared to review this during the interview screening process. Knowledge and experience with network security products is strongly desired. Pre-sales experience is required. Qualifications also include:
- BS/BA in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent is required
- CCNP / CCIE or JNCIE Certification is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communications skills are required for this role and the candidate should provide examples of their work on request
- Advanced specialization skill in network security products, preferably Check Point Firewall & VSX, ISS Proventia or Sourcefire 3D system
- Other industry certification such as CISSP is desirable
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned geographic region
